Why Have I Been Subscribed?
One of our partner companies has collected your details through their signup process. During this, you gave marketing permission to receive electronic communications from them. If you did not, please report it by emailing Support@TellMeIt.co.uk and we will investigate.

In rare cases people miss spell their email address and may have signed you up by mistake or signed you up without your consent. If this is the case, please accept out apologies and change the preferences in update my profile.

What did I give permission for?
Permission is collected by industry sector for third party companies, on a purely opt in basis. This allows our clients to change their name and to continue to market to you legally and in adherence to our code of conduct.

What does the opt-in request look like?
When you signed up, you should have seen something similar to the following:
"By completing this page, you give your explicit consent to receive electronic communications from associated third party music and lifestyle companies."

I definitely did not get asked to opt in, what should I do?
If one of our partners did not include an opt-in request, they have breached their contract with us. Please forward your evidence of this misuse to us at Support@TellMeIt.co.uk and we will look at withdrawing their service.

What is my information used for?
Our partners use your details to communicate with you, keeping you informed about what they are doing. They may also compile it into reports to analyse their customer base.

What will I be emailed?
Typically emails will be promoting our client's products or services, using a variety of content styles. All communications must comply with a strict code of conduct.

If you feel you have received something that offends you or is insensitive please tell us and we will investigate it for you.

Why am I suppressed, not deleted?
If we delete your data we have no record of you in the future. Should we be required by law to show we had you on record then removed you or we need to demonstrate that you were marketed to in accordance with appropriate regulations, we would be unable to. Therefore, we 'suppress' you. This means our clients won't see your information anymore, but we can still conform to the necessary legal requirements.

How secure is my information?
Our data centre is protected with 24-hour security manning, CCTV monitoring and tracking via swipe card access systems. To ensure data security the physical network is separated into a number of discrete segments each firewall protected to provide a secure controlled environment. In addition a range of other security services including firewall management, IP filtering and trial site hacking operates.

How do I see the information you hold?
Before you can view the information we hold on you, we need to check your identity to ensure you are not a malicious user. This is done through sending a code to you by email or text message, which is entered when requested. If this is correct, your details will be displayed, along with options to unsubscribe from mailing lists.

Do I have to pay to see my details?
No, this is a completely free service. Any text messages you receive through using this service are also free.

What kind of companies uses this service?
Our partners operate in a range of areas within the leisure market. Typically, these are bars, clubs, drink brands, music bands, performing artists, sports clubs and societies. Additional various lifestyle and fashion labels also use our services.

Is this socially responsible?
All our partner companies operate to a strict code of conduct, which we monitor regularly. If they fail to adhere to this, access to their information is withdrawn and only released upon the results of an internal investigation. Our code of conduct requires all use to be fair and honest, to comply with relevant legislation.

Why do my emails go to my 'Junk' mail folder?
